VPI Employment Services

VPI Employment Services is an employment and career development organization supporting people through job search, training, and professional development. I identified an opportunity to bring VPI’s visual identity in line with the professionalism and credibility of the organization itself. I led a visual identity redesign and translated the refreshed brand across VPI’s print, digital, social, and web presence. Please read more below. Please read more below.

Scope: Brand Identity, Art Direction, Web Design, Print Design, Digital Design, Copywriting

Problem

VPI’s existing visual identity had become dated and inconsistent across its public-facing communications. Its branding, digital presence, and marketing materials lacked a cohesive visual language, creating a disconnect between how the organization looked and the quality of the services it provided.

The challenge was to create a more unified and contemporary brand experience that communicated professionalism and credibility while remaining approachable and accessible to the people VPI supports.

Process

I developed a refreshed visual identity spanning the logo, colour palette, typography, imagery, and supporting visual language, then built out how the system could work across VPI’s communications.

I applied the identity across a wide range of touchpoints, including social media, billboards, posters, presentations, training materials, and other branded communications. Rather than designing each piece in isolation, I established a flexible visual system that could be adapted across formats, audiences, and platforms while maintaining consistency.

I also led the visual design of VPI’s 15-page website, developing page-by-page layouts, copy, imagery, and design direction. I then worked directly with a third-party WordPress developer throughout implementation, providing detailed direction on how each page and component should be translated into the site.

Result

The redesign established a cohesive visual system that could be carried consistently across VPI’s organization, from large-scale print and marketing materials to its digital and web presence.

The new identity gave VPI a more contemporary and unified public-facing presence, better reflecting the professionalism, accessibility, and trust central to the organization and creating a stronger foundation for future communications.
